It has always been the aim of the trustees to distribute as many Country Casseroles as possible during the winter months. To this end we are pleased to welcome three new charities to our distribution network, Transform Housing and Support, St Mungo’s and Cirencester Signpost.

In December last year we donated 80 casseroles to Transform Housing and Support; a charity supporting those living on the street in Elmbridge, Runnymede and Spelthorne by providing a winter shelter during January to March.

In February we were able to deliver 250 casseroles to St Mungo’s in Bristol.  St Mungo’s is a homelessness charity and housing association providing a bed and support to more than 2,600 people a night.  We were introduced to Marcus (pictured below) who helps in the kitchen and he is already thinking of ways in which the casserole could be used to make other meals.

Our most recent delivery is 56 casseroles to Cirencester Signpost – a small group offering support to vulnerable and marginalised people in Cirencester.

We continue to distribute casseroles to our existing network through FareShare as well as Taunton Association for the Homeless, Veterans Aid and The Salvation Army.

We are always looking to expand our distribution network so If you know of a charity in need of food donations please let us know by emailing us.

Your donations make this support possible.  Thank you.
