Sir Ian Botham’s Beefy Foundation very kindly supported The Country Food Trust at their clay shoot day at the Wormsley Estate in Buckinghamshire on the 12th July. The event was a great success with 30 teams enjoying 7 stands around the beautiful estate.
The Country Food Trust was present at one of the stands with chef Tim Maddams, who delighted guns with his delicious pigeon pinchos kebabs and pheasant wonton served with a soy dipping sauce. The day raised over £100,000 in total with a third of the total being donated to The Country Food Trust. This incredibly generous donation will enable us to feed 20,000 people living in food poverty.
