Wow! Well that was a weekend to remember, hard work, fun and definitely worth it!
As the Official Charity of The Game Fair 2021, we would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the organisers of The Game Fair for such an amazing opportunity!
With our largest stand yet we hosted: Cabinet Ministers, Opposition Ministers, Lords, Ladies, Gentlemen and three of our Patrons, the great and the good of the UK, who visited us to learn more about our fantastic charity, pin a tail on a roe deer, buy a raffle ticket, trial our food and sign up for our supporter schemes.
We visited existing supporters on their stands and enlisted new ones, we met prospective Ambassadors and suppliers and generally spread the word.
We were helped by our existing team of outstanding Ambassadors who were magnificent and hardworking, smiling and industrious, joyful and informative, polite and gracious and a huge credit to our Charity – they informed the public, shook collection buckets and one even slept on our stand overnight and raised over £3,000 in the process. THANK YOU!
As if this wasn’t enough, we represented the Charity 4 times in the Carter Jonas and Kitchen Theatres with our brilliant Patrons Phil Spencer, Adam Henson and Mike Robinson and our Consultant Chef Tim Maddams.
In addition, Tim Maddams and the fabulous team from Eat Nice Be Nice ran a a 200 cover restaurant which was universally praised for its delicious food and smiley service.
It is hard to remember that we only attended our first Game Fair in 2017 having produced just 20,000 meals. Four years later and we have now delivered over 2.1 million meals.
The venue has been booked, the date has been set, next years Game Fair will take place at Ragley Hall, 29 – 31 July 2021 – we hope to see you there!
