On the last weekend of July, the CFT team relocated to Hatfield House where we ran a stand at an event for the first time. It also marked the arrival on the team of Holly Bourne-Arton who has joined the charity to run our marketing and social media.
We were able to trial our hotly anticipated new partridge product, the Country Curry, on the ‘In The Field Kitchen’ stage, with CEO Tim Woodward, GunsOnPegs Chris Horne and Chef Tim Maddams. This was incredibly well received and people were also able to taste samples of the newly improved Country Casserole recipe and talk to our chef, Tim Maddams, about the products. We have just launched our products online with The Wild Meat Company.
The Game Fair was a great chance for us to talk to members of the public about The Country Food Trust and visitors loved the concept that for every meal they bought one was donated to someone in need. We also continued to sign up members for our Corporate Supporter scheme and launched membership of our new Individual Supporters scheme.
Both schemes are being subscribed to at a growing pace, It’s a case of everyone doing their bit to help, with the corporate scheme costing £750 and the individual scheme costing just £40.
