Our huge thanks to our Norfolk Ambassador Nicholas van Cutsem and his wife Alice and to Amanda Skinner from Private Cellar for hosting a wonderful wine tasting in Norfolk last night on behalf of The Country Food Trust.
Blessed with incredible weather in a beautiful location, Private Cellar put on a superb tasting of wines and our CEO Tim Woodward gave a talk to the guests about the new The Country Food Trust Initiative (CFTI) which we are rolling out this season in East Anglia. It involves shoots working with local dealers to produce game meat for use by local charities and we had a very positive uptake from those who attended. Also present were Digby Taylor from GunsOnPegs who are helping tun the CFTI and our brilliant Trustee Duncan Clark from Braxted Park who is overseeing the entire idea as well as looking after our Ambassadors.
